Adecco is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Material Specialist to join our warehouse team. This role involves receiving, storing, and distributing materials and products within the facility, ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of all job functions. The ideal candidate will have experience operating warehouse equipment, an eye for detail, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team. This position also requires flexibility, as you may be asked to fill in for team members on vacation or out sick.

Job Title: Material Specialist

Location: North Little Rock, AR 72114

Pay Rate: $18.00 per hour

Work Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM

Assignment Duration: 12 months (Temp)

Key Responsibilities:

• Receive, store, and distribute materials and products within the warehouse.

• Operate warehouse equipment safely, including forklifts, pallet jacks, and hydraulic lifting carts.

• Pick and stage materials for work orders accurately and efficiently.

• Sort and place materials or items on racks, shelves, or in bins according to predetermined sequences (size, type, style, color, or product code).

• Record the amounts of materials or items received or distributed using appropriate system transactions or computer programs.

• Assist with shipping, receiving, and other warehouse-related functions.

• Lead and/or assist in coordinating physical inventory counting.

• Maintain cleanliness and orderliness in the warehouse by sweeping, dusting, and mopping as needed.

• Assemble customer orders from stock and place orders on pallets, shelves, or relocate them to the shipping department.

• Complete various transactions within the MRP (Material Resource Planning) system.

• Maintain a flexible work schedule and be willing to fill in shifts as needed for team members on vacation or out sick.

• Perform other duties as assigned to support the warehouse operations.

Job Requirements:

• Previous experience in operating warehouse equipment (forklifts, pallet jacks, etc.) is required.

• Ability to wear and use proper safety equipment at all times.

• Computer proficiency, including familiarity with MS Office, is a plus.

• Attention to detail and accuracy is a must.

• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage time effectively.

• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.

• Ability to lift up to 35 pounds overhead.

• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.

• Experience with shipping, receiving, and warehouse operations is highly desirable.

• Flexibility to work varied shifts, as needed.

Pay Details: $18.00 per hour
