We are offering an exciting opportunity in North Las Vegas, Nevada for a Controller to join our team. The role involves overseeing a team, managing the monthly close, maintaining the general ledger, and handling accounts payable and receivable among other responsibilities.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee a team, providing leadership and guidance

• Manage and oversee the monthly close process

• Handle aspects related to mergers and acquisitions

• Maintain and manage the general ledger

• Process accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR)

• Handle payroll processing and management

• Manage AIA Billing

• Oversee project accounting activities

• Handle special projects as required

• Utilize Sage Software for various accounting tasks

• Employ Trimble for various tasks and processes

This role is ideal for individuals with a strong background in accounts payable (AP), accounts receivable (AR), budget processes, leadership skills, monthly close, financial statement preparation, AIA Billing, project accounting, and Trimble Software.

Requirements

• Minimum of 7 years of experience in a Controller role or similar position.

• Proficiency in Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) management.

• Demonstrated experience with budget processes and financial planning.

• Strong leadership skills with a proven track record of team management.

• Proficiency in monthly close procedures and financial statement preparation.

• Familiarity with AIA Billing processes.

• Experience in project accounting is required.

• Proficiency in using Sage Software for accounting and financial management.
