Hexagon Manufacturing Intelligence Customer Relations Group Coordinator I in North Kingstown, Rhode Island

Summary Hexagon's Manufacturing Intelligence division is seeking a Customer Relations Coordinator for our North Kingstown, RI location. The Customer Relations Coordinator provides administrative and logistical support to the sales team. Performs order processing/entry, record keeping, response to customer inquiries and RFP. Generates reports on sales targets, activity, and other related metrics. Coordinates customer and prospect meetings and events. Prepares presentation materials and exhibits. Trains and supports the sales team on systems, processes, and procedures. First point of contact for customer, interacting by telephone and email. Job Responsibilities * Answer calls from a multi-line telephone console consisting of 800 available lines, identify customer needs and/or direct calls to the appropriate group/contact in a courteous and business-like fashion * Process customer requests and meet customer demands in a fast-paced environment * Adapt to rapid changes based on customer requests * Provides superior customer service to ensure a positive experience * Support the CRG team's day-to-day operations * Generate proposals, create templates, and collect account data * Organize analytics * Database entry/maintenance * Contact customers by phone to gather and verify information * Assist with quarterly sales campaign materials * Coordinate and interface with other departments * Maintain reports and spreadsheets * Collects market trend data for CRG Representatives to use in developing sales campaigns and strategies * Gathering information and communicates it in a clear concise manner with others * Respond to customer issues and inquiries in a professional manner to assure optimum satisfaction * Communicate with internal and external customers to resolve inquiries * Learns from and studies experienced Customer Relations Group Coordinators techniques and work * Remains current with skills by attending training classes, independent research, and seminars as needed * Performs other related duties as assigned Qualifications * Associates degree or equivalent combination of education and work experience * 2 - 4 years related discipline * Excellent verbal and written communication skills * Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and reasoning skills * Creative, self-motivated, detail-oriented, and driven * Excellent organizational and customer service skills * Proficient in MS Office and relevant software * Excellent follow-through and questioning skills * Ability to work efficiently and effectively under pressure * Experience managing databases * Experience with Salesforce.com desirable * Experience with ERP systems, BPCS or LX desirable * Works under general direction as well as in a team environment At Hexagon Manufacturing Intelligence, our spirited energy and engagement are evident in our commitment to our work, passion for what we do and the speed at which we achieve it.
