Production Associate Responsibilities include but are not limited to: - Follow instruction sheet to properly assemble upfits into vehicles - Identify and correct defects in product or workmanship - Use hand tools to assemble and attach pieces - Observe machine operation to detect work piece defects or machine malfunction - Ensure implementation of quality and safety procedures - Work with other associates to set up machine and stack, mark, pack, and transport finished parts - Maintain a clean and orderly work area
Production Associate Requirements: - Regularly lift up to 35lbs - Stand for entire shift - Must be able to reach and grab with hands and arms - Must be able to stoop, bend, and kneel as needed - Ability to read a tape measure to an 16th of an inch - Ability to read and understand work instructions and bar graphs - Strong written and verbal communication skills - Must have good eye and hand coordination - Previous experience in automotive or electrical assembly a plus
