Job Description:

Hourly rate: $21.35

Key Result Accountabilities

Directs daily cleaning, sanitizing, and inspection of all processing equipment and assigned areas. Follows plant Standard Operating Procedures. Documents and follows Master Sanitation Schedule. Follows instructions of supervisor / manager for daily plant cleaning Follows all safety policies (i.e. lock-out tag-out) Reports equipment problems, GMP, or safety concerns to supervisor / manager.

  • Supports and adheres to the company’s safety, conduct, sanitation, and GMP policies.

  • Assists sanitation lead for all cleaning and sanitizing.

  • Responsible for being a participant on plant teams and committees.

  • Responds to change productively, and handles other duties as needed.

Qualifications

  • Three (3) months experience in manufacturing facility

  • Can perform routine CIP/COP sanitation procedures within 90 days of hire/transfer to position

  • Demonstrates skills and knowledge of the sanitation operations, chemicals, and equipment

  • Knowledge of food plant Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP’s).

Environmental Working Conditions

Employee must comply with all safety policies and safe work procedures established by the company. Job tasks may also involve:

Using personal protective equipment such as safety glasses, goggles, gloves, and other equipment as established in company policies and safe work procedures. Compliant with the uniform policy.

Lifting up to 50 pounds, anything over should seek assistance.

Frequent carrying, bending, standing, sitting, and repetitive motion.

Employee will be expected to attend safety training, serve on the facility safety committee and participate in hazard analysis and resolution.
