As a Market Basket Associate, you will make an invaluable contribution to the company by assisting our customers throughout our stores. From the aisles to the register, you'll shape our customers' shopping experience from the moment they step through the door. Our Associates are truly the face of our stores, and our closest connection to the communities we serve.
This position is best for someone with kitchen experience, but it is not mandatory. Candidate must have excellent customer service skills when dealing with hungry patrons. Job is high volume and fast-paced. Market Kitchen prepares and serves pizzas, grill items, cold and hot sandwiches.
Other Job Duties:
- Clean and sanitize dishes, cookware, and utensils
- Clean and sanitize food preparation work stations
- Assist in the food preparation process by cutting, chopping, slicing, and washing vegetables, meats, and other ingredients
- Follow all food health and safety requirements
- Assist with the unloading of deliveries and their proper storage
- Communicate kitchen needs to supervisors
18+ for safety regulations. Must be reliable with solid transportation. Willing to train serious candidates. Flexible hours - willing to accommodate your schedule. Candidate should be available for late afternoon/evening hours. This is a part-time position with potential for full-time.
