TekSystems is hiring for patient assistance counselors for a fortune 500 pharmaceutical company! We are looking for candidates who have prior insurance verification and healthcare call center experience, along with the ability to show high levels of empathy to patient's experiencing hardship. These positions will be fully remote and candidates will be assigned a shift between 7:00am-7:00pm CST Monday-Friday. If interested and meet all qualifications please apply!

Description:

The Patient Assistance Counselor II PAC provides support to those patients who are uninsured underinsured who have limited benefit coverage and or who have high out of pocket prescription and medical expenses which may qualify them into the Patient Assistance Program. The PAC provides high quality customer service to both patient and healthcare providers HCPs for specialty prescription medication provided by the Patient Assistance Program. The PAC will coordinate review of all application documents conduct insurance investigations when applicable assess patients financial information and provide an outcome status to patients and HCPs.

Hours:

7:00am-7:00pm CST Monday-Friday - All candidates will be assigned an 8 hour shift in that time range. Candidates do not get to select their shift, so must be open to any hours.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

-5+ Years of insurance verification experience

-5+ Years of healthcare call center experience

-Experience working complex denied claims

-Patient counseling experience w/insurance verification

-Ability to show high level of empathy
