HealthFitness is looking for a Group Class Instructor to join the fitness team at our client site located in North Chicago, IL. In this position you will provide fun, effective, and safe group exercise to members participating in the program such as spin, kickboxing, step, boot camp, and circuit. This is a position teaching 1-2 classes per week.

Part-time hours can be flexible. Classes are from 11:45am-12:30pm, we are looking for someone with availability on either Mondays or Fridays.

Minimum Requirements

• Current group exercise instructor certification from ACE, AFAA/NASM, ACSM, NETA, NCCPT, or other NCCA nationally accredited specialty class certification required.

• Adult CPR/AED and First Aid certifications from American Heart Association, American Red Cross or American Safety & Health Institute required within 30 days of hire.

• 2+ years group exercise instruction experience strongly preferred.

• Ability to navigate electronic onboarding and timecard systems required.

• Applicants must meet hiring requirements including but not limited to pre-employment drug test.

Compensation: $40/Class. Pay is dependent on experience and qualifications.
