Industrial Maintenance Technician

A popular Aluminum Supply company in North Chesterfield, VA is looking for Industrial Maintenance Technicians to join the team and help maintain and repair various metal extruding machinery.

The company is looking for Techs to start right away so Aerotek will provide a rapid interview process so you start work as soon as possible!

Responsibilities :

• Diagnoses and troubleshoots basic electrical and mechanical problems with machinery and equipment

• Performs basic repairs to machinery using knowledge of general maintenance techniques, tools and skills

• Performs basic preventative and predictive maintenance functions including, but not limited to lubricating, aligning, adjusting, and cleaning.

• Performs basic welding in the repair and fabrication of mechanical equipment

• Performs basic work and assists as required on electrical, hydraulic, PLC, combustion and pneumatic systems

• Must be able to read and understand schematics/blueprints. This will be a multi-task job function that includes assisting mechanics and operators as necessary.

• Monitors condition of equipment and makes maximum use of planned outages

Experience Level: Intermediate - Expert

Location: North Chesterfield, VA

Pay / Shift: Pay is depending on experience

Training on days: 7 AM to 3-4 PM for 6 months

Then switch to: 3 PM to 11 PM or 11 PM to 7 AM.

The schedule is typically Monday-Friday with frequent overtime on Saturday/Sunday. Expect to work 50-60 hours a week.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $32.27 - $32.27
