Job Title: Quality Inspector

Job Description

Seeking highly motivated Quality Inspectors for our day and night shifts. In this role, the Quality Inspector inspects components, sub-assemblies, and finished products received and/or built internally. This position works with Quality Management to implement the proper sampling plans based on component specifications, inspection plans, or customer-supplied requirements and provides guidance on required quality tools, methods, and data to assure that shipped products fulfill all customer specifications and quality requirements. This position monitors and maintains quality processes to assure continual 100% customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Collect quality data as required to derive quality objectives.

• Execute and maintain comprehensive quality product inspections.

• Serve as a manufacturing focal point for intelligent analysis of quality issues, determining true root causes and implementing permanent corrective and preventive actions.

• Follow and promote the use of and implementation of internal quality standards and procedures.

• Review documentation for compliance with quality standards.

• Inspect First Articles, incoming components, raw materials, fabricated parts, and in-process assemblies and subassemblies products per Inspection Plans.

• Conduct subassembly tests as required to ensure quality products.

• Use measuring equipment such as calipers and gauges.

• Audit and monitor quality requirements in accordance with the company quality assurance policies and customer specifications.

• Document and report inspection findings and results, and monitor corrective actions to inspection findings.

• Regular adherence to performance of applicable procedures in the ISO 9001 Quality Management Systems (QMS) and ISO Environmental Management.

• Continuously assess opportunities for improvement and any needed changes to management systems.

• Assist with assembly work, when able.

• Ability to read and interpret blueprints

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $25.00/hr.
