Novant Health Dimensions Scheduling Operations Analyst in North Carolina

Job Summary

Works with end users and leaders to eliminate barriers to patient access through scheduling and template management optimization. Manages processes to support improvement of scheduling and provider template across Novant Health Medical Group. Relentlessly advocates for best practice and upholds standards as set by NHMG. Sustains subject matter expertise on scheduling and template functions within Epic.

Team member is responsible for securely managing information systems throughout their lifecycle, including; knowing what information systems are within their scope of responsibility, understanding what sensitive data is stored, transmitted, or processed on those information systems, enforcing the security principles of least privilege and least functionality, knowing what events may constitute an information security incident, and understanding their role in security incident response activities. Responsible for analysis, implementation, modification and installation of low complexity systems. Learns operational and technical workflows. Completes configuration of basic application files as assigned with minimal supervision required. Creates documentation as well as technical specifications, testing plans, etc. Assist in recommending, designing, testing and implementing systems improvements. Gains knowledge of ITS processes to include but not limited to analysis, design, build, and testing and change control. Completes on call responsibilities as assigned. Works as a change advocate for the organization, showing flexibility as priorities change. Keeps the patient at the center of focus for all tasks.

Qualifications

  • Education: 4 Year / Bachelors Degree In Health, Business Administration or other related field, required.

  • Experience: Two years Healthcare industry, required. Scheduling and/or templating experience, preferred.

  • Licensure/Certification: Epic certification. Cadence certification. Must obtain certification within three months of hire date (maximum of three tries per project/exam), preferred.

  • EPIC Radiant certification strongly preferred.

  • Additional Skills (required):

  • Must be able to successfully manage multiple projects simultaneously with excellent time management abilities.

  • Skill in exercising initiative, judgment, problem-solving and decision making.

  • Skilled in giving and receiving constructive feedback.

  • Ability to complete assignments in a timely manner.

  • Additional Skills (preferred): Experience using Visio or other workflow mapping and/or Microsoft tools
