JOB SUMMARY:
The Service Technician will troubleshoot and repair general heavy equipment engines and drive-train components, electrical and hydraulic systems as well as perform normal machine repair in a safe manner. Responsibilities include inspecting, repairing, and maintaining, overhauling, and rebuilding engines and/or heavy equipment components.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
- High school diploma or equivalent is required.
- Must have one of the following:
- Successfully completed the level 2 training program.
- Five years of experience with hands-on mechanical repair work with diesel or earthmoving or industrial equipment.
- Graduation from an accredited technical school (minimum two-year program), with emphasis on diesel engine or earthmoving repair and two years' experience.
