Description
We are offering a long-term contract employment opportunity for a Project Manager in the logistics industry, based in North Canton, Ohio. This role is primarily focused on overseeing cross-functional projects and ensuring their successful completion.
Responsibilities:
• Oversee and manage logistics-related projects, focusing on timely completion and quality
• Apply formal project management methodologies to ensure projects are executed efficiently
• Coordinate with IT project management teams to align on project objectives and deliverables
• Leverage experience in PMO - Project Management Office to enhance project execution
• Utilize industry knowledge to address project challenges and optimize solutions
• Facilitate cross-functional collaboration to ensure all project aspects are covered
• Use diligence and process maturity in managing projects
• Ensure communication across all project stakeholders, maintaining transparency and clarity
• Apply problem-solving skills to address project issues and ensure smooth execution
• Monitor project progress, making necessary adjustments as needed.
Requirements • Proven experience in Cross Functional Project Management is required.
• Proficiency in Formal Project Management methodologies is essential.
• Demonstrable experience in IT project management is a must.
• Familiarity with PMO - Project Management Office processes and standards is needed.
• Experience in Logistics is crucial.
