Are you an experienced CNC Machinist who has worked with Lathes & Mills? Do you have experience setting up CNC machines, selecting jobs based on work order specs as well as performing tool changes. After 40+ years in business, we continue to utilize cutting edge technology to meet customer specific requirements both locally and abroad and have an immediate need for a CNC Lathe & Mill Setup / Operator. salary: $60,000 - $75,000 per year

shift: First

work hours: 7 AM - 3:30 PM

education: High School

Responsibilities

Responsibilities:

• Machining quality parts using CNC mills and lathes

• Setting up and operating lathe and mill machines

• Interpreting blue prints and work order specifications

• Inspections - utilizing calipers, micrometers, and gauges to check parts are within tolerance

• Utilizing basic shop math and the metric system

• Setting up machines and performing tool changes

Qualifications:

• 2+ years' experience working with CNC Lathes & Mills and must have prior experience setting up and performing tool changes

• Must be willing to learn additional skills

• Technical school training is a plus

• Criminal background check and drug screening are pre-employment requirements

• Must be fully vaccinated to be considered

The essential functions of this role include:

• manual lifting up to 50lbs

• standing for 8 hours at one time
