Job Title: Lab Technician

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Lab Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will follow all Good Documentation Practices (GDP) procedures and operate production equipment in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Batch Records, and Manufacturing Directions (MD). You will coordinate sample preparation and testing, review manufacturing documentation for compliance, and document all work activities accurately. Reporting procedural deviations and nonconformance to management is also a key responsibility.

Responsibilities

• Follow all GDP procedures.

• Operate production equipment according to SOPs, Batch Records, MD, and Manufacturing Directions.

• Review manufacturing documentation for compliance.

• Coordinate sample preparation and testing.

• Record data into Batch Records, log books, and OPM.

• Document all work activities according to Good Documentation Practices and recommend document revisions.

• Report procedural deviations and nonconformance to management.

Essential Skills

• Buffer preparation

• Media preparation

• Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP)

• Aseptic technique

• Cell culture

• Experience in biotechnology or pharmaceutical manufacturing

• Documentation control

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Associate's degree or higher in a relevant field

• 0 years or more of biomanufacturing or pharmaceutical experience

• 1-3 years of experience preferred to support the team

• Ability to gown and gain entry to biotechnology/pharmaceutical manufacturing environments

Work Environment

You will be working in a team of 25 other people on the day shift, from 6am to 4:30pm, Monday through Thursday. Due to current demand, you will also work on Fridays with 8 hours of overtime. The environment is business casual, and the role requires someone who is very detail-oriented and possesses a strong work ethic.

The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $24.00
