SALARY:              $86,710 - $101,998

ACCOUNTABILITY STATEMENT:

This position will champion a continuous improvement environment and culture for refurbishment projects using specialized tools, techniques, and Lean Six Sigma methodologies. The Continuous Improvement Specialist will identify opportunities for improvements, define issues and recommend changes to ensure project success.

MAJOR DUTIES/ RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Initialize, plan, conduct, and sustain continuous improvements for projects

  • Work with stakeholders to identify and eliminate bottlenecks and inefficient processes and procedures

  • Work collaboratively with stakeholders on planning for and managing improvement changes, and prioritization of various continuous improvement projects

  • Audit task/processes and perform root cause analysis to target areas for improvements

  • Champion a continuous improvement environment and culture for refurbishment projects using specialized tools, techniques and Lean Six Sigma methodologies

  • Prepare report and presentations on findings

  • Research on continuous improvement tools, techniques and/or methodologies appropriate for the task/process needing improvement

  • Collaborate and discuss findings and make recommendations to senior management team

REQUIREMENTS:

  • University degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing or related discipline

  • A minimum of 2 - 3 years’ experience implementing continuous improvement methodologies to drive organizational change

  • Professional certifications or formal training in continuous improvement such as Lean Six Sigma Certification, Total Quality Management, Continuous Improvement Certification is required

  • Experience with Microsoft Visio/Mind Mapping and related tools

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, specifically Outlook, Teams, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word

  • Experience preparing and providing reports

  • Excellent planning and organizational skills

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills

  • Committed to company health & safety
