UCP of Western Massachusetts Licensed Social Worker - Early Int. in North Adams, Massachusetts

Licensed Social Worker - Early Intervention Job Type: Full Time Location: North Adams, MA Schedule: 37.5 hours/M-F \$2,500 Sign-on Bonus POSITION OVERVIEW Our Licensed Social Worker will provide early preventive therapeutic interventions and supportive services to young children (birth to age 3) whose development is at risk by certain biological or environmental risk factors as well as related support services to their caregivers using a family centered approach. Services will be conducted in the child?s natural setting or during group sessions. Caseload is in Northern Berkshire County, MA. - Provide therapy and service coordination in the child\'s natural environment, such as home, daycare, or community settings. - Participate in multidisciplinary team evaluations, IFSP development, and intake visits for children/families. - Offer counseling to caregivers, addressing challenges like behavior management and parenting stress. - Conduct social/emotional assessments and co-facilitate developmental groups with interdisciplinary staff. - Maintain productivity and accurate documentation for billable services, including treatment notes, evaluations, and IFSPs. - Provide in-service presentations, community outreach, and consultation to community agencies to raise awareness of early intervention services. - Participate in regular supervision, department meetings, and continuously expand knowledge of early intervention and child development. - Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations, agency policies, and maintain professional communication within the organization and community. QUALIFICATIONS - Master\'s degree from accredited program recognized by the MA Board of Registration of Social Workers - MA license in good standing in one of the following disciplines: LICSW (preferred), LCSW, LMHC, LMFT - Certification as an Early Intervention Specialist by the Massachusetts Department of Public Health (MDPH), or eligible to be certified within two years of employment in a MDPH certified Early Intervention Program - Attendance at the DPH two-day orientation training within the first year of employment. - Experience in home visits, pediatrics and families preferred - Basic ability to use Microsoft Office Word, Excel, Outlook and remote and productivity work tools - CPR/First Aid Certification for infants and toddlers or ability to achieve certification - Valid driver\'s license, availability of private vehicle, up-to-date car insurance - Must be able to pass a CORI, SORI and national background check LICENSED SOCIAL WORKER (EARLY INTERVENTION) BENEFITS] - Medical, dental and vision insurance after first month of employment - Earn two weeks vacation in first year of employment, three week rate after first year - Three personal days per year - Earn up to seven sick days per year - 403(b) retirement program with company match after one year - Mileage reimbursement - May qualify you toward the Public Service Loan Forgiveness program - Financial assistance with professional memberships, certifications and license renewals - Employee referral program and more!
