Business Services Specialist
Salary $43,500 year
Scope of Position
- Responsible for approving CWDS job postings through a detailed validation process.
- Responsible for reviewing and completing Employer Verification Forms (EVFs) by contacting employers or company representatives
- Responsible for approving or rejecting new employer registrations in CWDS
- Identify, contact, and engage with prospective employers to solicit position openings and support external recruitment efforts
Responsibilities
Essential Functions
- Complete a thorough review of New Employers looking to join and utilize the PA CareerLink® website, following an established approval process
- Approve CWDS job postings using a thorough validation process
- Perform the EVF verification process accurately, enter data, case note, and upload completed forms to SharePoint for data entry and provide quality control on EVFs for state compliance
- Keep the EARN Program Manager and Business Services Team Lead apprised of successes and obstacles while maintaining a strong focus on required tasks
- Promote CareerLink® services and record all employer contacts and services in CWDS
- Identify potential employer partners by reviewing employers most often utilizing the PA CareerLink® job board and connect with Business Services Team members for outreach
- Solicit job openings from employers and organize detailed job descriptions for job bank
- Review participant employment skills and match with active positions in the job bank
- Meet performance criteria and program required goals as set by the Business Service Team Lead
- Support onsite recruitment events hosted by the Business Services Team
- Represent CareerLink® at conferences, meetings, and select social functions as required
- Daily activities and responsibilities may vary depending on Business Services Team need
Qualifications
Preferred Education
- 1-3 years of data entry or related work experience required
- Associates Degree in Business or equivalent experience
- Good interpersonal communication, and digital literacy skills
- Customer service experience required
- Ability to converse with a wide range of professionals and demonstrate a positive professional attitude
- Must be able to work independently
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Products
