Sr. Power Electronics Engineers with Rivian Automotive, LLC in Normal, IL. Work on high voltage power electronics product support for the manufacturing and service operations at Rivian Automotive plant. Identify, analyze engineering issues, and develop solutions at the production plant. Work to design industry leading power electronic conversion units. Responsible to test, characterize, and analyze power\ electronics circuits. Support characterization, test activities, manufacturing, and service operations at plant. Debug issues and solve problems with cross functional teams.\ \ RQMTS: Masters degree or foreign equivalent in Electrical Engineering or a closely related field and 2 years [or a Bachelors degree or foreign equivalent as stated above and 5 years] of experience in any occupation involving electrical engineering.\ Experience must include working with power electronics circuits and concepts; Using electrical schematics and component datasheets; Working in high voltage lab environment with oscilloscopes, power supplies, and multimeters; and utilizing software tools Spice, Mathcad, and MATLAB.
