Process Engineering Managers with Rivian Automotive, LLC in Normal, IL. Be a steward of Rivians culture and guiding principles. Lead a team of Engineers responsible for the EDV production area. Drive continuous improvement efforts post SOP to ensure safety, quality, cost, and delivery metrics are met and needs of customer (Paint & General Assembly) are met. Ensure equipment installation and processes meet key targets for production readiness as far as KPIs and schedule. Work closely with advanced manufacturing engineering to review process and cell layout/design during development. Develop culture of continuous improvement across all cross functional teams to ensure strong input from all levels of organization. Develop capital budget plan for Body Shop continuous improvement projects. Develop standards and processes to support business and Body Shop needs. Develop long range plan for Body Shop operations. Manage and lead team, ensuring adequate staffing and skill levels. Identify and ensure project and program milestones are met. Drive cycle time reductions and line balancing across shop. Lead team of process, joining, and dimensional engineers. Work with cross functional groups including quality, metrology, production control to ensure resolution of issues. Supervise a team of engineers.

RQMTS: Bachelors degree or foreign equivalent in Industrial Engineering or a related Engineering field and minimum 1 year of experience in any occupation of process engineer, industrial engineer, manufacturing engineer, or related. Experience must include: Engineering experience in high volume manufacturing operation; Using 2D & 3D Modeling tools like AutoCAD, CATIA/ENOVIA, and/or Solid works; Working with DOE, Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerance, Torque Tooling, Error Proofing, and/or PFMEA; Experience in Six Sigma DMAIC, Lean Assembly Principles, Time Studies using MTM or MODAPTS; and Using Kaizen, 5S, and/or Lean Six Sigma. Salary Range: \$126,000 - \$167,000/yr.
