Job Information

Adecco US, Inc. Warehouse Workers in Norfolk, Virginia

  • Receiving and Processing: Unload and inspect incoming shipments, verify quantities, and check for damaged goods. Process and record receipt of items.

  • Inventory Management: Organize and store products in designated areas, ensuring accurate labeling and proper stock rotation. Perform regular inventory counts and report discrepancies.

  • Order Fulfillment: Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment in a timely and accurate manner. Ensure all orders are prepared according to customer specifications and shipping requirements.

  • Housekeeping: Maintain a clean and organized work environment by following sanitation and safety guidelines. Dispose of packaging materials and other waste in accordance with company policies.

  • Documentation: Complete and maintain accurate records of inventory transactions, shipping logs, and other related documentation.

  • Team Collaboration: Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to ensure smooth warehouse operations. Assist in training new employees as needed.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED preferred.

  • Previous warehouse experience or experience in a similar role is a plus.

  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.

  • Good physical condition and ability to lift heavy items (up to [weight limit] lbs) and perform repetitive tasks.

  • Basic computer skills for inventory management and documentation purposes.

  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.

  • Safety-conscious with a commitment to maintaining a safe working environment.

Pay Details: $17.50 per hour
