What You’ll Get to Do:

As a Systems Administrator II, you will be responsible for supporting the daily operational requirements of our computer network systems, ensuring their security, efficiency, and reliability. You will play a critical role in the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of hardware and software, as well as in the implementation of network security measures. This position offers the opportunity to work with a variety of technologies and systems, providing a dynamic and engaging work environment.

More About the Role:

• In this role, your primary responsibilities will include:

• Supporting daily operational requirements of computer network systems, including workstations, file servers, and web servers.

• Installing hardware, software, and system upgrades, and managing network accounts and network security.

• Designing, updating, and maintaining web pages, interfaces, and local system documentation.

• Maintaining, troubleshooting, and implementing network security tools, including firewalls, anti-virus software, and intrusion detection services.

• Designing, implementing, troubleshooting, and maintaining cloud-based solutions, including networking, compute instances, and associated support services.

• Ensuring compliance with the latest Cybersecurity workforce certification and training requirements in accordance with DoD 8570.1M and subsequent DoD 8140 manual as applicable.

• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop and enforce best practices for system administration and network security.

You’ll Bring These Qualifications:

• Active Secret clearance

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Electronic/Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or Information Systems.

• Individual shall meet the latest Cybersecurity workforce certification/training in accordance with DoD 8570.1M and subsequent DoD 8140 manual as applicable.

• AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner certification.

• Three (3) years of professional experience in systems administration, supporting daily operational requirements of computer network systems.

• Experience with the installation of hardware, software, systems upgrades, and managing network accounts.

• Experience in network security, web page design and updates, and local system design documentation.

• Experience in maintaining, troubleshooting, and implementing network security tools, including firewalls, anti-virus software, and intrusion detection services.

• One (1) year of experience in designing, implementing, troubleshooting, and maintaining cloud-based solutions, including networking, compute instances, and associated support services.

These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:

• AWS Certified SysOps Administrator certification.

• Microsoft Technology Associate certification.

• Certified SAFe Agilist certification.

Pay Range : There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications. The proposed salary range for this position is:

$68,400-$143,700
