Description
Tradesmen International is immediately hiring skilled Marine Electricians for projects located in and around San Diego, CA. This is a first shift opportunity with a pay rate of up to $28/hour based on experience & skill level plus $150/per diem for travelers 60+ miles from the job site. Job Scope:
Install, repair, & hook up equipment for all electrical services on the ship
Lay out, pull lifts out
Install cable & conduit
Prepare work area
Drill holes
Grind metal surfaces & weld mounting equipment
Other tasks as assigned
Requirements:
5+ Years of Experience working as an Electrician in the Shipyard
Must have knowledge of electrical, mechanical, & shipbuilding practices
Ability to use power & hand tools
Ability to read blueprints
Must have Marine OSHA 10 & Firewatch Training
Must pass background check
Must pass drug screen
