H2 Performance Consulting (H2) is seeking an IPv6 Systems Engineer to support the Department of Defense (DoD).

The IPv6 Systems Engineerresponsibilities will include:

Assist in the IPv6 deployment on systems across the Marine Corps Enterprise Network

Proficiently manage data related to system performance, availability, and reliability.

Utilize data analytics tools to create visual summaries for leadership, explaining the state of our business systems.

Collaborate with system owners and project managers to gather necessary details about MCEN (Marine Corps Enterprise Network) systems and applications.

Communicate effectively to ensure seamless coordination and timely execution of tasks.

Familiarity with DITPR/DADMS (Department of Defense IT Portfolio Repository/DON Application and Database Management System).

Experience with SharePoint Online administration as well as Power Apps and automation processes

Proficiency in managing Windows operating systems, including license management.

Knowledge of vSphere suite extensions, including system backups, VM deployment, and resource management.

Experience with Infoblox DDI (DNS, DHCP, IPAM) tools.

Understanding of DNS infrastructure and data flow across multi-level architectures.

Skillful in creating briefings and diagrams using Visio to convey technical information to customers and stakeholders.

Set up and manage application software.

Deploy and maintain system management tools.

Perform regular system updates, patches, and security enhancements.

Familiarity in programming languages such as Python, Ansible, and PowerShell.

Deep understanding of operating systems (Windows, Linux/Unix).

Required Qualifications:

• The candidate must have an active DoD Secret Clearance
• Must have a DoD 8570.01-M, IAT level III certification.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related (or equivalent experience).
• 5+ years of hands-on experience as a systems engineer
• Basic IPv6 Knowledge
• In depth knowledge of SharePoint Online administration as well as Power Apps and automation processes
• Exceptional problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in high-pressure situations
• Familiarity with networking fundamentals and system architecture.
