Hampton Roads area Electricians

Job Description

We are seeking qualified electricians to join our team, assisting with multiple projects across the Hampton Roads area. The specific job site will be determined based on the level of experience of the electrician. Key responsibilities include performing installations and repairs on electrical systems and control systems, handling equipment such as relays, starters, switches, and motors, determining conduit sizes, pulling conductors, making terminations, and installing junction boxes. Additional duties involve supporting wiring and other electrical tasks related to retrofits, construction projects, installations, equipment replacements, and other service projects.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Electrical license (JM card or Master card) preferred but not required.

• Must be proficient in running rigid conduit, emt and pvc

• Journeyman/Master level experience in power and control wiring, and commercial electrical installations

• Must be able to work independently without supervision and control your own project

• Strong industry knowledge and experience is required

• Completion of applicable trade school (preferred, but not required)

• High school diploma or equivalent

• Knowledge of NEC and applicable local codes and OSHA safety regulations.

Job Type

This is a Contract-to-Hire position.

Work Environment

Construction schedule from 7 AM to 4 PM; requiring mobility as projects are spread out across the Hampton Roads area.
