Description
Convergint is looking for a full-time, enthusiastic, results driven and forward-thinking CAD Operator to join our amazing culture. In this role, you will prepare system installation drawings from engineered documentation for construction or permit. As a CAD Operator, you are a part of a dynamic team that allows you to grow as Convergint grows.

What you’ll do with “Our Training and Your Experience”

Prepare system as-built drawings from onsite drawing mark-ups.
Assemble drawing package sets and data sheets for submittal or permit; works on drawing package sets and data sheets with complexity levels varying from routine to, at times, more complex.
What You’ll Need
Good knowledge/expertise in AutoCAD; including commands such as layers, xrefs, dimensioning and blocks.
Strong skills in reading and understanding architectural and electrical layouts and diagrams.
Exceptional customer focus and ability to work under pressure; ability to maintain awareness of, and seek to meet the needs and wants of the customer without being prompted.
Basic understanding of low voltage systems, instrumentation & testing, or P&ID preferred.
Basic understanding of Access Control, Video Surveillance, Intrusion, Intercom, Building Automation, or Mass Notification preferred.

Requirements
Education: High School/GED or equivalent experience
Highly Preferred (but not required): Revit
