What Product Test & Calibration contributes to Cardinal Health

Manufacturing is responsible for cost of production and maintenance activities including process improvement, supply chain management, quality assurance, employee safety and engagement, and environmental commitment.

Product Test & Calibration sets up, aligns, monitors, and/or calibrates production equipment. Assists and may perform maintenance on machines and cleans up minor chemical spills in assigned area as well as glassware, ovens, and other equipment.

Shift Details: Monday - Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM CST

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma/GED preferred

  • 5+ years’ experience in related field preferred

  • Proficient with computers

Responsibilities

  • Provide for the day to day administration of computerized preventive maintenance system

  • Distribute production and maintenance scheduled work orders and task lists

  • Provide for sorting and distribution of work orders to assigned teams

  • Coordinate change control documentation for changes to preventative maintenance tasks

  • Track distributed work orders and task lists to their scheduled completion – prepare work order completion report

  • Maintain maintenance parts inventory levels

  • Develop new and modify existing PMs

  • Conduct weekly maintenance planning meetings

  • Work closely with parts crib team to ensure successful operation

  • Assist with TPM events – resource planning, event set up and scheduling

  • Comply with statutory responsibility under the national/federal regulations - take reasonable care of your own health, safety and welfare along with teammates that may be affected by your acts at work

  • Follow established EH&S procedures and policies and encourage teammates to follow them

  • Participate in EH&S activities such as: root cause analysis, finding solutions, implementing improvements, inspections, and meetings

  • Complete and remain up to date on required EH&S training

  • Follow all ISO 13485, GMP, OSHA and plant/corporate standards, policies, and procedures

  • Observe all safety precautions and regulations at all times in all areas where duties are performed

  • Report all safety incidents, hazards, and potential unsafe working conditions

  • Work overtime as required

  • Other duties as assigned with or without accommodation

  • Demonstrates a working knowledge of jobs outside area of responsibility

  • Maintains appropriate licenses, training and certifications

  • Works on assignments that are moderately difficult requiring judgment in resolving issues

  • May assist in recommendation of processes on new assignments

  • Adheres to all quality guidelines

  • Works with limited supervision

  • Work occasionally involves review of output by work lead or supervisor

  • May provide general guidance or technical assistance to less experienced team members

Anticipated hourly range: $24.80 per hour - $35.40 per hour
