Commonwealth Electric Company of the Midwest Journeyman Electrician in Norfolk, Nebraska
Position Summary:
This position will install, maintain and repair electrical systems, apparatus and electrical/electronic components in accordance with the National Electrical Code and all other applicable standards and specifications.
Primary Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to the following:
Measure, cut, bend and install conduit, using appropriate equipment
Pull electrical wire and cable in conduit using manual and power equipment
Move/handle various equipment and spools of wire
Install electrical raceways and wire, conduit, lighting fixtures, controls, machinery and electrical distribution equipment
Proper care for material, tools and equipment

All other duties as assigned and required
Required Qualifications:
State of Nebraska Journeyman Electrical License
OSHA 10 Card
Must be able to read blueprints to determine how to best install the components and wiring
Functional understanding of Low Voltage systems
Highly organized, detail-oriented and hard working
Effectively manage multiple tasks simultaneously
Must possess excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to communicate effectively with personnel at all organizational levels
Education and Experience:
Completion of a state approved apprenticeship with field experience and classroom requirements
Must be able to pass an essential duties test, drug screening, background check and must maintain a valid driver’s license
