Job Description

Danfoss Power Solutions seeks a proactive and detail-oriented Quality Engineer to ensure the delivery of top-notch quality solutions from the end-user perspective. As a key player in our dynamic and fast-paced environment, you will engage with various departments across the organization and external stakeholders.

Job Responsibilities

As our new Quality Engineer, you will be the advocate for our customers, coaching and developing our Operations teams while fostering a culture of continuous improvement.

Your mission is to enhance customer confidence by ensuring the quality of future products and processes within Valve and Pump Solutions (VPS), focusing on the effective use of quality core tools.

Key responsibilities include:

• Supporting the use of quality core tools (FMEA, CP, MSA, SPC, PPAP, 8D).

• Analyzing product returns as part of the Corrective Action Process.

• Managing supplier quality in collaboration with the external Supplier Quality Group.

• Auditing products and processes in compliance with ISO 9001:2015 & IATF 16949:2016 standards.

Background & Skills

To be considered for this position, you should have a B.Sc ./M.Sc. in engineering or electronics, or significant hands-on experience with electronics or quality projects.

Essential skills and qualifications include:

• Advanced knowledge of core quality tools (APQP, FMEA, CP, MSA, SPC, PPAP) and comprehensive knowledge of ISO 9001:2015 & IATF 16949:2016.

• Proficiency in written and spoken English.

On a personal level, you possess strong communication skills and a positive, open mindset. Your proactive nature and keen perception enable you to foster excellent team dynamics and build relationships across diverse cultural backgrounds. You are a self-starter, taking initiative in setting goals and pursuing necessary actions.
