Aeris IoT is the IoT SaaS platform for mobile operators and enterprises within Internet of Things (IoT) business. It is built on core tenants of cloud computing and intelligence (AI/ML) that enables operators and enterprises to address new revenue streams from a vast variety of devices while simplifying the process and reducing the cost of connecting them to benefit from economies of scale.

We are looking for a Tech Lead - Web Developer to join us in building the next-gen intelligent IoT SaaS Platform to meet the future growth and scalability needs. This new position will play an important role in our IoT team and will focus on developing next-gen device and connectivity platform and portal that scale for 100+ millions of devices and processes multi-billions of events per day.

  Job Summary:

We are seeking a world class Tech Lead - Web Developer with solid and proven background in software achitecture & development of Web & Frontend applications and a passion for working with cutting edge technology. In this role, you will be working in a fast-paced, global development team while collaborating with other developers, management and customer support teams. You will have an opportunity to work on the latest technology stack on public cloud. This is an opportunity to advance your carrier to the next level, be involved in all phases of software lifecycle and make significant contribution to the team.

Responsibilities

• Play a Lead Developer role in building Web/Frontend applications, owning how the application is architected and building world-class applications.

• Write well designed, testable, efficient code by using best software development practices.

• Provide technical expertise in the feature design and act as guard of code and product quality.

• Help the team plan its development activities and commitments towards business objectives

• Ability to work and thrive in a fast-paced environment, learn rapidly and master diverse technologies and techniques.

• Collaborate with Backend team to ensure the software interfaces between the web applications and backend meet the product and software requirements.

• Collaborate with cross functional teams to define interfaces ensuring that the overall product experience is smooth, fast and effective for the user.

• Collaborate with Quality team to ensure that the software are released with highest quality and on time.

  Qualifications:

• Passionate, innovative, curious

• At least 8-10 years of relevant experience in Web development.

• Strong computer science, data structure and database concepts.

• Strong knowledge of frontend technologies of Javascript, CSS, HTML

• Solid knowledge of ReactJS, AngularJS & NodeJS frameworks

• Experience with Redux and browser-based debugging

• Experienced in consuming RESTful services.

• Exposure to cloud technologies preferably Google Cloud or AWS

• Experience working with large-scale production systems.

• Have a strong quality mindset and deliver features on time with high quality.

• Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication in english.

• Proficiency with Agile development.

• Strong Analytical and Problem Solving skills

• Be comfortable working in dynamic environment.

  Nice to Have:

• Bitbucket/git, Jenkins, docker, Messaging, Redis, Security

• Experience working with test driven development.

• Previous experience working as part of geographically distributed teams
