Primary Responsibilities:

  • Meeting with the software/product designers to determine quality assurance parameters

  • Developing and executing test plans and detailed test cases based on requirements and/or customer feedback and prioritization

  • Drafting of testing documents

  • Implementing testing procedures and owning the QA process

  • Troubleshooting quality issues and modifying test procedures

  • Conducting analysis checks on product specifications

  • Ensuring the successful deployment of products into different environments

  • Documenting results and offer observations or improvements after analysis of test results and overall product quality

  • Collaborating with the development team on bug fix verification and validation (regression testing)

  • Comply with the terms and conditions of the employment contract, company policies and procedures, and any and all directives (such as, but not limited to, transfer and/or re-assignment to different work locations, change in teams and/or work shifts, policies in regards to flexibility of work benefits and/or work environment, alternative work arrangements, and other decisions that may arise due to the changing business environment). The Company may adopt, vary or rescind these policies and directives in its absolute discretion and without any limitation (implied or otherwise) on its ability to do so

Required Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience developing test automation or combination of development in Java and test automation experience using Selenium WebDriver or similar tools

  • 5+ years of experience with Agile methodologies

  • Hands on experience with testing and automating web applications

  • Hands on experience on test automation of APIs (REST services)

  • Experience working in a CI/CD environment like TeamCity/Jenkins for executing automated tests

  • Experience deploying to and working with software services deployed on public clouds viz., AWS/Azure

  • Proficient with IDEs such as IntelliJ Idea and developer tools like git

  • Proven solid communication collaboration and influencing skills to drive change

  • Proficiency in design, development, reuse, execution of tests cases

  • Proficiency in running and updating testing scripts

  • Proficiency in test automation and use of automated testing tools

  • Understanding of SDLC (software development lifecycle) in Agile while also providing key contributions to testing phase in SDLC

  • Proficiency in collaborating as part of a scrum team in grooming user stories and development of acceptance
