Designation : Senior Operations Manager- Medical Coding Quality

Reports to (level of category) : Operations Delivery Leader

Primary Responsibility:

Role and Responsibilities:

Skills Required*

Candidate should be certified from AAPC/AHIMA

Candidate should have at least 1 year experience in managerial role in medical coding quality along with 8 plus years of experience in medical coding/Quality.

Should possess excellent domain knowledge around medical coding and RCM business

Effectively manage all types of Quality activities across the coding domain and always strive for process improvement initiatives.

Strong coding domain expertise along with experience of managing Teams with multispecialty coding like Profee, Outpatient, Surgery, Denials, ED Profee/facility and (or) value-based care.

Should be able to multitask and handle Onshore and Global stakeholders effectively.

Should possess good decision-making abilities & Result oriented approach.

Strong communication, Analytical and presentation skills.

Excellent Team Handling & People management and Leadership skills.

Position requires employees to work Hybrid.

Knowledge of Quality tools/Quality Assurance methodologies with Six Sigma certification is preferable.

Additional Skills Required:

  • Proficient in MS Excel

  • Strong ability to analyze raw data, draw conclusions and develop actionable recommendations

  • Ability to handle multiple tasks of reporting simultaneously

  • Ability to adapt quickly to new and changing technical environments as well as strong analytical, problem solving and quantitative abilities.

  • Solid verbal and written communication skills are required
