Primary Responsibilities:

• SIEM Deployment: Lead the planning, design, and implementation of SIEM solutions (Microsoft Sentinel & Splunk), ensuring seamless integration with existing security infrastructure

• Configuration Management: Configure SIEM tools to collect, correlate, and analyze security event data from various sources

• System Optimization: Optimize SIEM performance by tuning and adjusting system parameters to enhance detection capabilities

• Incident Response: Collaborate with the incident response team to investigate and resolve security incidents detected by the SIEM

• Documentation: Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for SIEM configurations, processes, and procedures

• Training: Provide training and support to internal teams on SIEM functionalities and best practices

• Compliance: Ensure SIEM deployments comply with relevant regulatory and data privacy requirements

• Automation: Identify opportunities for automation within the SIEM environment to improve efficiency and response times

• Comply with the terms and conditions of the employment contract, company policies and procedures, and any and all directives (such as, but not limited to, transfer and/or re-assignment to different work locations, change in teams and/or work shifts, policies in regards to flexibility of work benefits and/or work environment, alternative work arrangements, and other decisions that may arise due to the changing business environment). Required Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, Engineering, or a related field

• Experience: Extensive experience in SIEM implementation, configuration, and management

• Skills: Solid experience with SIEM platforms like Microsoft Sentinel, Splunk

• Solid understanding of network security technologies and tools

• Knowledge of intrusion detection methods and secured network integration

• Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Python, Perl, shell scripts)

• Familiarity with both Linux and Windows operating systems

Preferred Qualification:

• Certifications: Preferred certifications such as AZ-500, SC 200, CISSP, CISM, CEH etc.
