Oracle Senior Cloud Application Support Engineer in NOIDA, India

Job Description

Responsibilities:

Provide level two application troubleshooting and support for Retail cloud service customer

• Experience on working with the cloud deployment process.• Debugging and fixing Cloud deployment issues.• Experience in ORACLE WebLogic/Database Server administration in 24x7 Production environments• Proficient in Virtualisation & Containers (Setup & Administration.)- Docker & Kubernetes• Knowledge around Oracle Autonomous Database & GoldenGate• Intermediate Linux Administration• Familiarity with Cloud concepts and Cloud Native Platform• Cloud Infrastructure Administration and Networking with Knowledge on Object Storage & File Storage handling and OCI Logging.• Participate in incident management, operational/security maintenance, software performance analysis, and system tuning.• Deeper understanding of technology and standards, actively keep abreast of trends and standards, recommend best practices and share learning.• Knowledge on Database activities like export, import, troubleshooting of data migration issues • Experience in supporting Oracle Retail Enterprise channel Products like RMS, RIB, Planning, etc preferred• Drive projects/technical initiatives and service improvements.• Identify recurring issues and areas for improvement, providing these as input back to engineering teams for future enhancements• Flexible to work in rotational shifts including weekends & Public HolidaysQualifications:• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, MIS or another technical field or equivalent work experience• Experience implementing or supporting the operations of Oracle Retail products on cloud is a added advantage • Should have strong interpersonal skills to be able to make great business relationships with people from various LOBs.• Need to have excellent written and verbal communication skills for global audience.• Should possess proven history of working in a virtual team spread across continents
