Job Description

An Oracle HCM Benefits Functional Consultant is responsible for analyzing, designing, configuring, and supporting the US Benefits module within the Oracle Cloud HCM suite, ensuring it aligns with a client's specific business requirements by mapping their benefits plans, enrollment processes, and related data into the Oracle system, including the configuration of benefit plans, eligibility rules, life events, and reporting functionalities to support employee benefits administration effectively.

Required Skills and Experience:

• At least 2-3 Oracle Fusion HCM implementations or support exposure with module-leading hands-on experience in any of the two modules (First Module - Benefits, Second Module - Payroll/Core HR).

• Provide ongoing support to clients after go-live, addressing any issues related to benefits administration, troubleshooting system errors, and implementing updates or changes.

• Deep expertise in Oracle HCM Benefits: Comprehensive understanding of the Oracle HCM Benefits module, including plan structures, eligibility rules, enrollment processes, open enrollments, ACA, benefit calculations, and reporting capabilities.

• Business acumen: Strong knowledge of benefits administration practices, including healthcare plans, retirement plans, flexible spending accounts, HSA, and compliance with relevant regulations.

• Functional Consulting Skills: Ability to translate business requirements into system configurations, perform gap analysis, and design solutions within the Oracle HCM framework.

• Project Management: Experience in managing project phases of an Oracle HCM implementation, including planning, execution, and delivery.

• Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with clients, stakeholders, and technical teams to gather requirements, explain complex concepts, and manage expectations.

Responsibilities

• Requirements Gathering: Collaborate with stakeholders to understand and document detailed business requirements for employee benefits administration, including plan types, eligibility criteria, enrollment periods, and benefit calculations.

• Gap Analysis: Identify any discrepancies between client requirements and standard Oracle HCM Benefits functionality, proposing solutions to bridge the gaps through configuration or customization.

• System Design: Develop a comprehensive design for the Oracle HCM Benefits module, including configuration of benefit plans, benefit options, enrollment processes, and benefit calculations based on client specifications.

• Configuration: Perform hands-on configuration of the Oracle HCM Benefits module, setting up benefit plans, eligibility rules, life events, deductions, and other relevant parameters within the system.

• Testing and Quality Assurance: Execute thorough testing of configured benefits functionalities, including unit testing, integration testing, and user acceptance testing.

• User Training: Develop and deliver training materials and sessions to end-users on navigating the Oracle HCM Benefits module, including enrollment procedures, benefit details, and self-service functions.
