Position Summary:
We are on the lookout for a passionate and talented individual to join our team as a Long-Term Innovation (LTI) Head of IOT Solutions. In this role, you will be at the forefront of creating ground-breaking packaging solutions of tomorrow. This position within the team is responsible for assigned projects contributing to top line business growth of the future. Responsibility also includes participating in creative events to support driving an innovative mindset & culture throughout the organization. Leadership skills in translating design briefs, consumer trends and integrating RFID /IOT technologies into functional products are required. Demonstrated ability to influence across functional areas and effectively coordinate external and internal resources is needed along with a proven record leading and delivering complex technically challenging projects. The successful candidate will serve as an example of a best-in-class innovative interdisciplinary risk taker.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
• Utilize your extensive experience in RFID & IOT to integrate into packaging development, working with a variety of materials, molding and assembly techniques
• Demonstrate proficiency in designing packaging solutions that are not only functional but also aesthetically pleasing
• Design, develop, and optimize RFID and IoT-based systems and applications for innovative packaging products that seamlessly integrate mechanical and electrical elements to enhance user experience
• Stay ahead of the curve of IOT trend insights, consumer needs, and customer requirements into unique and value-added product offerings
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that our designs align with market trends and consumer preferences
• Play a pivotal role in capturing intellectual property by contributing to the development of innovative and patent-worthy designs.
• Conduct investigations for ideas and modern technologies outside the company to embrace a sense of open innovation.
• Facilitate internal team, external partner, & vendor meetings effectively
• Periodic travel may be required
