S&P Global Lead Front End Automation Engineer in Noida, India

Department overview:

The Quality Assurance team comprises of highly experienced testing professionals located in Europe or India. The team supports and ensures high quality of software in being responsible that software functionality conforms to business requirements using a combination of manual and technical testing techniques. The team is also responsible for verifying technical aspects of the implementation including the performance and scalability of the platform.

Position summary

This position will involve being hands-on and having strong knowledge of TOSCA automation tool and more specifically building automation scripts on TOSCA for a desktop application. The position would be expected to lead aspects of QA and metrics. We are seeking a candidate that can provide thought leadership, work in an agile and collaborative manner that is passionate about high quality deliverables. You should have proven experience in

  • Scripting, configuring, and implementing test scenarios using TOSCA.

  • Preparing reports, communications, training materials and providing recommendations to achieve desired results

  • Lead the design, development and integration of QA and metrics

  • Solve complex non-routine problems by taking a broad perspective to identify innovative solutions

  • Work on significant and unique issues where analysis of situations or data requires evaluation

  • Proven experience is creating and delivering the Test Strategy.

  • Can guide and troubleshoot an established and high performing TOSCA team.

  • Solid experience in understanding of test pipelines for automated nightly runs

  • Excellent communication skills, systematic and creative problem-solving skills.

This position will involve a hands-on test build /execution role where the creative inspiration can fuel BIG Innovation.

Duties & accountabilities

Operational Support

  • Work with the QA Manager to meet TOSCA automation requirements to the highest standards.

  • Design TOSCA Automation test strategies based on user requirements.

  • Help and assist other members of the team and define the next level for the present technical solutions.

  • Candidate should possess a motivating attitude and be passionate about building great automation solutions.

Desirable

  • Knowledge and experience of OMS Systems and financial markets

  • Demonstrated ability to work in a globally distributed software development team.

  • Knowledge and awareness of Functional performance testing.

Culture:

  • Communicates complex concepts, anticipates potential objections, and influences others to adopt a different point of view.

  • Has a full understanding of and fully supports company values.

Experience:

  • Master's degree preferred and/or bachelor's degree in a technology-related field. 5 - 8 years of related experience, with an advanced degree preferred.
