Answers telephone calls, greets public and provides routine information of department functions to a\ variety of inquirers including other County staff, outside agencies and the public; maintains\ departmental and/or work unit files; enters and/or verifies information into computerized systems;\ compiles a variety of information to prepare reports of activities and/or status; prepares and\ enters statistical information of program/department activities; receives and distributes all incoming\ mail.\ Maintains records and files of department/program activities; receives and receipts incoming funds,\ supplies and equipment; orders, receives and stocks routine inventory supplies and materials; notes\ discrepancies; prepares deposits, receipts and refund requests; responds to citizen inquiries/\ complaints; completes requests for work orders; types a variety of materials such as memoranda and\ forms; collects fees and issues receipts; prepares a variety of mass mailings to promote, educate and\ inform a variety of audiences.

One (1) year experience in full time clerical/office support work, involving some\ customer relations responsibilities; or completion of a post high school course/program in office practices/\ management, customer service or closely related area may substitute for the required experience.
