Description We are in search of a Staff Accountant to join our team in Newtown, Pennsylvania. The role involves various accounting tasks such as period close, journal entries, and financial statement preparation. This role is essential for maintaining accurate financial records and reports within the company.

Responsibilities:

• Perform period close processes to ensure timely and accurate financial statements

• Prepare and post journal entries to maintain general ledger accounts

• Develop, implement, and maintain financial statement preparation processes

• Conduct general ledger account analysis to verify transaction accuracy

• Undertake bank reconciliations to ensure accuracy of financial information

• Maintain fixed asset reconciliations to track company assets

• Prepare and deliver royalty reporting as needed

• Generate ad hoc reports upon request to assist in financial decision making

• Collaborate with various departments to ensure accurate financial reporting

• Continually develop accounting skills and system knowledge to improve efficiency and accuracy. Requirements • Proficient in Journal Entry Preparation and Journal Entries

• Experience in Financial Statement Preparation and Financial Statement Analysis

• Comprehensive knowledge of General Ledger operations

• Skilled in performing Bank Reconciliations

• Ability to conduct detailed Account Analysis

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field is preferred

• A minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience in accounting

• Proficiency in using accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite

• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in work

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Able to meet tight deadlines and manage multiple tasks

• Strong understanding of accounting and financial reporting principles and practices.
