To be a successfulLead Success Coachyou must become able to do the following always:

1. Models and teaches youth the knowledge and skills they will need to successfully exit the facility and live in a community setting by using a trauma informed approach focused on resiliency and recovery.
2. Provide leadership within the cottage by modeling and teaching staff the knowledge and skills they will need to be a successful Success Coach.
3. Serves as charge staff on shift and assist the Residential Supervisor with team meetings and crisis situations when on shift.
4. Helps youth self-manage their behavior by using SCM (Safe Crisis Management) without the need for the use of emergency safety interventions.
5. Achieves positive discharge outcomes for youth.
6. Follow Company Policies and Procedure as outlined in the Employee Handbook and the Guide to Successfully Manage the Milieu.

How you will spend your time in this job:

• 40%Leads the cottage milieu by teaching and counseling youth
• 25%Provide mentorship and teach the knowledge and skills needed to be successful to Success Coaches
• 20%Maintain and prepare records/documentation
• 15%Serve as a charge staff and respond to crisis situations on campus in the absence of a supervisor.
• 5%On Call
• 5%Participation in supervision, committees, company-wide and staff meetings.
