Responsibilities You will implement policy and program guidance governing the implementation of Knowledge Management (KM) initiatives at Surface Warfare Schools Command (SWSC). You will be responsible for performing knowledge and information management technology tasks for the various SWSC Directorates, in support of the SWSC training enterprise community. You will be responsible for managing Knowledge Management (KM) efforts with respect to content integration processes, supervising systems analysis processes to meet the business requirements of SWSC. You will determine the knowledge content; show how it will be structured, shared, controlled and made easily accessible for the non-homogenous needs of the Knowledge Management community. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Ability to implement policy and develop program guidance governing the implementation and execution of Knowledge Management (KM) initiatives at the command; 2) Serve as the KM transformation/change agent for Surface Warfare Schools Command (SWSC); 3) Identifies internal/external best KM practices, establishes methodology for sharing these across SWSC; develops strategies to make tacit knowledge explicit; facilitates the sharing of best business practices across SWSC; 4) Serves as the SWSC content manager and is editor of the SWSC.
