The Janitor ensures employers property, a tax credit property in Newport, OR, remains clean and orderly. Responsibilities include cleaning, maintaining building security, and addressing routine maintenance needs to promote a safe and pleasant environment. REQUIREMENTS: -High school diploma or GED. -Ability to read and interpret safety and maintenance instructions. -Strong problem-solving skills and ability to follow verbal or written instructions. PREFERENCES: -Experience with cleaning procedures and equipment. DUTIES: -Clean and maintain restrooms, floors, windows, and common areas. -Monitor building security, locking/unlocking doors, and checking for hazards. -Empty trash and replenish cleaning supplies as needed. -Report major repair needs to management. -Follow safety protocols when using cleaning chemicals or equipment. -Lift up to 50 pounds occasionally. HOURS: -Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 10:00 AM (10 hours per week). PAY: -\$15.00-\$17.00 per hour, depending on experience. -Benefits include sick pay and access to the Employee Assistance Program.
