Description
Tradesmen International is immediately hiring experienced Marine Welders for projects located in and around San Diego, CA . This is a full time opportunity with a pay rate of up to $29/hour based on experience plus $150/Per Diem to Travelers 60+ miles from the job site. Job Scope:
Weld shell plating, fabricated cast or forged components for vessels, tanks or other structural assemblies
Working with carbon electrodes to cut, shape and groove metal
May prepare work place for welding by cleaning and or preheating
Examine weld sizes of weld beads
Remove scraps and ensure work area is clean and safe
Requirements
Must have OSHA 10, Maritime and Fire-Watch Certifications
Must be US Citizen
Must be able to pass a drug screening and background check
Must be able to pass a vision test
Must be able to work at heights, in confined spaces and any assigned shift
Must comprehend written and verbal instructions in English
Must have knowledge of welding characteristics of metal
