Robert Half EBT Coordinator in Newport News, Virginia
Description We are seeking an EBT Coordinator to join our team in the non-profit sector, located in Newport News, Virginia. The role involves managing customer inquiries and maintaining accurate records while ensuring efficient processing of customer applications. This position also entails monitoring customer accounts and implementing suitable actions.
Responsibilities:
• Address customer inquiries and complaints in a respectful manner, resolving any disputes or issues that may arise.
• Utilize personal computer and relevant software to complete administrative tasks swiftly and accurately.
• Cultivate and maintain detail-oriented relationships with employees at all levels, including representatives from other departments and organizations.
• Plan and organize daily work routine, estimating the completion time of tasks and setting personal schedules accordingly.
• Exercise sound judgment in understanding, analyzing, and evaluating situations to make appropriate decisions.
• Communicate effectively, listening, and understanding directions, information, and ideas presented verbally and in writing.
• Perform complex administrative support work that requires interpretation and judgment, including data entry, document scanning, and information updating in computerized systems.
• Coordinate, process, and record financial information and transactions, including revenue collections.
• Keep up-to-date operational monthly, weekly, and daily reports, and develop new reports to track current trends and activities.
• Work directly with department patrons to issue EBT cards, assist with inquiries, and collect payments. Requirements
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role within the Non-Profit industry.
• Experience with About Time software is a plus.
• Proven ability to handle Answering Inbound Calls effectively.
• Solid understanding of Budget Processes is necessary.
• Excellent Calendar Management skills are required.
• Strong Communication skills, both written and verbal, are a must.
