Description We are in the process of expanding our team and seeking a Financial Planning & Analysis (FP& A) Manager in the import/export industry, based in Newport Beach, California. This role involves maintaining and processing customer applications, updating records, and resolving inquiries. Your role will also include monitoring customer accounts and taking appropriate actions when necessary.

Responsibilities:

• Validate and integrate data, ensuring accuracy and adherence to reporting standards.

• Regularly generate sales reports, including daily scorecards, weekly quality reports, and executive summaries.

• Maintain accurate financial models and collaborate with Accounting to validate weekly P& L.

• Manage weekly standard commissions, captain bonuses, and inventory charges while maintaining clear communication and up-to-date records.

• Execute and explain changes in commission and compensation, ensuring legal and accounting compliance.

• Handle invoice creation and payment validation, resolve disputes, and communicate with clients as necessary.

• Develop a comprehensive understanding of the entire campaign ecosystem, including sales processes and data management.

• Independently analyze and execute tasks related to the campaign, handle complex data sets, and generate insightful reports.

• Monitor sales reports regularly, identify trends, and report findings to key decision-makers.

• Develop strategies for sales growth and campaign improvements, identifying areas for optimization and proposing new initiatives.

• Establish yourself as a reliable resource for any campaign-related questions and provide accurate information and guidance.

• Actively collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure alignment and drive campaign success. Requirements • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role, preferably within the Import/Export industry.

• Proficiency in using Adaptive Insights and Anaplan for financial planning and analysis.

• Extensive knowledge of CRM systems and data mining techniques.

• Familiarity with Enterprise Performance Management (EPM) systems.

• Understanding of accounting functions and their impact on the overall business operations.

• Proven experience in managing annual budgets and budgeting processes.

• Ability to work with various business units and coordinate their financial planning and analysis needs.

• Knowledge of capital management principles and strategies.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities.

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field is required.

• Relevant detail oriented certifications are considered a plus.
