Description
This position is primarily guest service out on the gaming floor and assisting with basic gaming machine functions including detailed paperwork requirements, accurate data entry, and money counting skills. All positions within 7 CLANS CASINOS are responsible for the overall maintaining of excellent guest services, efficient productivity, and providing an orderly, safe, and exciting workplace.
The following is a list of the main duties and responsibilities of all slot team members. However, other duties will be assigned as deemed necessary by reporting department management and will be addressed per department job descriptions and Policies and Procedures. Responsible for the success of the Players Club, by assisting guests through the membership process, and explaining the benefits of membership.
CASINO/DEPARTMENT OPERATIONS
Greet guest and team members eagerly upon arrival to the casino/hotel, maintain a proactive guest service approach at all times. Being able to remember regular players by name.
Be able to assist with guest questions by being knowledgeable regarding promotions, events, specials, areas, and locations of casino.
Maintaining attendance to ensure Casino and Guest has necessary coverage to provide efficient guest service standards.
Distribute Players Club membership forms to guests at the Players Club counter and assist guests with completion for them to obtain their Players Club card. Routinely inspects stock of Players Club printed materials, and restock same, as needed.
Responsible for checking in and out the appropriate keys and radio during their shift and understanding the importance of company property and security of company equipment and property.
Making sure that all gaming machines are up and running, clearing bill jams, paper issues and notifying proper personnel for other issues outside of their realm of duties.
Responsible for accounting and verifying all monetary items (including jackpot payouts), documentation (verifying and ensuring required ID), and required signatures on all documents.
REGULATORY COMPLIANCE
Performs all duties in accordance with company team member handbook, objectives of the Otoe Missouria Tribe, internal policies, procedures, and controls, as well as applicable laws and gaming regulations, including but not limited to, the state-tribal compact, IGRA, MICS, OM TICS, the Bank Secrecy Act.
Maintains the Departmental log(s) noting any unusual occurrences, incidents, equipment failures, safety issues, disputes, etc.

Makes effort to keep informed of company information and communications by reviewing property bulletin boards, departmental log/shift reports, departmental/company emails, signage, and company newsletter.
QUALIFICATIONS
To perform these jobs successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential job duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required. Individuals must be at least 18 years of age.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
High School Diploma (or equivalent). Guest Se vices experience preferred, however not required.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:
Must be punctual and dependable in reporting to work as scheduled and completing assigned tasks.
Read, write legibly, and speak the English language. Read professional publications, memos, emails, logs, newsletters, and documents.
Active Listening -- Giving full attention to what other people are saying, taking time to understand the points being made, asking questions as appropriate, and not interrupting at inappropriate times.
Must be able to communicate and make announcements over the intercom system-assisting with tournaments and drawings.
