Job Summary:

• Welderin production process to create finished assemblies and subassemblies for chiller moduleswhile reading and understanding blueprint/schematics.

Responsibilities:

• Read 3-dimesional and 2-dimensional blueprints and schematics to determine dimensions, design and materials needed for performing duties.

• Prepare materials to be welded by completing cutting, notching, and drilling per the job blueprints and schematics

• Responsible for laying out prepared materials and completing welds to complete a finished assembly

• Assist with other departments as needed

Qualifications:

• Competency in reading blueprints and diagrams to interpret weld specifications.

• Able to use simple hand tools

• Must be able to interpret fractions, decimals, multiplication, and division

• Able to read measurement tools to accurately layout material

• Knowledge of physical properties and welding characteristics of metal, effects of heat, welding shrinkage, welding techniques and allowance for shrinkage.

• 1 or more years welding or equivalent experience (Certification Preferred)

• Ability to work in a team setting and demonstrate a positive work attitude

• Actively practices and promotes safety.

• Committed to continuous improvement in products, services, and processes.

• Ability to lift and handle up to 50 lbs.

• Experience using fabrications equipment such as; bandsaws, hole punches, grinders, etc.
