Adecco US, Inc. Part time Receptionist in Newark, New York

We are looking for a part time Receptionist in Newark, NY, offers semi-flexible hours, totaling 19.5 hours per week. The role involves opening and closing the office each day and interacting with applicants, tenants, and other visitors to NHA. This is a temporary position with varying hours based on business needs, with the potential to transition to direct hire.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Open and/or close the office each morning and at closing time, including opening blinds in the waiting room, meeting room, and front window.

  • Interact with applicants, tenants, and other visitors.

  • Answer four telephone lines.

  • Manage the application process for all applicants, including intake, processing applications, and updating information as needed.

  • Manage the waitlist and update applicants reaching the top.

  • Issue and manage work orders.

  • Maintain forms and assist other staff as needed.

  • Handle bulk mailings and other out-of-the-ordinary projects.

  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Executive Director.

Qualifications:

  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

  • Experience in office management or similar roles is a plus.

  • Ability to manage phone lines and interact professionally with visitors.

  • Proficiency in handling paperwork and maintaining accurate records.

Additional Information: This is a temporary position with the potential to transition to direct hire. The role requires flexibility with working hours based on business needs.

Pay Details: $18.00 per hour
