Posting Summary | Nature of the Research: Assist with the residency and faculty research program, providing help finding and applying for grants. Draft and review research methodologies and IRB applications. Assist with manuscript development and submission. Directly involved in well over 100 research and quality projects. Leads the research associate program, drawing students from nearby colleges to help our research efforts in the Department of Emergency Medicine. Devote 50% to assisting with methodological and statistical analysis and use the additional time to foster his/her own mentored and funded research career. |

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities | Specific Duties and Responsibilities: The candidate will be expected to design and perform experiments, tabulate and record experimental data, and analyze and interpret experimental results. The candidate will be expected to present research findings at scientific meetings and write manuscripts for publication. The candidate will also be expected to provide technical guidance and expertise to facilitate the experimental output of junior researchers in the laboratory, including post-doctoral fellows and research residents. |
