Job Overview:
TheHome Friendwill perform light housekeeping chores in the home of older adults/disabled adults.
Qualifications:
Required:
- One year experience working with older adults
Preferred:
High School Diploma/GED preferred but not required
Exceptional interpersonal skills
Scheduling Requirements:
Monday Friday: 8:30am - 3:30pm
6 hour work day
Essential Functions:
Calls-in when arriving at clients home Calls-out when leaving clients home
Establishes an efficient working system to ensure a thorough and quality service delivery to clients
Follows supervisory guidelines in all phases of the position
Identify and reports any physical or behavioral changes in the client
Performs specific chores services such as light housekeeping, meal preparation, laundry, and shopping in accordance with program guidelines
Submits time sheets weekly for payroll
Utilizes supervision to problem solve around issues dealing with clients
Maintain BLS certification
